Carolina Letterpress

Carolina Letterpress (CLP) is a letterpress/trade finishing shop in Cayce, South Carolina. Cayce is a suburb of Columbia, South Carolina's state capitol, and is located almost directly in the center of the state. The asking price is $225,000. The negotiability of that price increases with the quickness of the sale, as the owner wishes to retire in the near future. CLP was founded in 1990 with a single hand press, and has grown to include Kluges, Meihles, Heidelbergs, etc. The building is not included in the sale, but the landlord is very nice.

Ludlow typesetter.

Another Kluge inker, mainly used for perfing/scoring/diecutting.

Two Meihle V-50 Verticals. Good running presses, still have rollers and carriages

Meihle 28" Horizontal. Was our largest press, now in need of serious repair after a gripper piece broke. Maybe you can fix it, maybe not. We also have a 41" Meihle diecutter under tarps, we don't have room in this building as it is about 4 time the size of this press.

Seybold 43" cutter

Haskins/Kluge Hyperfold pocket folder gluer, with final folder. New in 1995 maybe?

Small shrink wrapper and hand bindery corner. We have a bunch of small binding equipment for comb, stitch, spiral binding, etc.

Although we don't have a die cutting saw yet, we have the capability of re-knifing dies with these cutting, notching and bending machines.

Small walk-behind Clark electric forklift
